My 7th grade son is preparing for the placement test for accelerated Algebra 1, and we were blessed to book lessons with Mike on short notice. He’s been very flexible with scheduling, and his teaching is both clear and patient. Mike’s dedication really shows, and my son enjoys the lessons so much that he’s been asking for sessions the very next day and throughout the long weekend. Teacher Mike’s lessons have been a game-changer for my super bright neurodiverse nephew. The teaching is done systematically. Also allowing for time to practice during class really works well for this student. We’ve hired Mike for several lessons almost daily and plan to continue for the rest of the school year. Mike worked with my 8th grader to catch up in Algebra after being out sick. We had a short timeframe to set the session up. He quickly got back to me, scheduled the session and was helped my 8th grader grasp some concepts he missed while out of school. I recommend him for tutoring students in what can be a confusing Algebra world.

Knowledgeable and patient teacher
Mike was obviously very knowledgable and good at Math. He was very patient with me. However, he used different verbiage than the course I was taking used which made it difficult for me to apply the instruction to the lessons. I needed to learn the formulas for a Final exam using the same terms as Pearson labeled each problem type. It was not a good fit fo rme. If I was just wanting to learn math from scratch, he would be an excellent instructor.
