I absolutely adore teaching children. I have three of my own that have all graduated high school and are successfully exploring higher education and/or working in the real world. I am a certified teacher of middle grades and also students with learning disabilities. I live the challenges that teachers face in the classroom in an attempt to educate students and frequently tutor my kids either before or after school. Many times the pace is just frankly faster than a lot of kids can keep up...

I am a certified teacher of middle grades and also students with learning disabilities. I live the challenges that teachers face in the classroom in an attempt to educate students and frequently tutor my kids either before or after school. Many times the pace is just frankly faster than a lot of kids can keep up with, but teachers do not have control in this respect. I believe that all kids can learn and sometimes it is better done in a quieter environment with less outside distractions. Too many of our children are falling through the cracks. I firmly believe that education is key and constantly strive to prepare my students for the next level.
