I love working in mathematics. My passion is to help students also learn to love math or at least appreciate it. I work well with students who struggle with math but have a desire to learn. This skill comes from my own experience as a child with math. I did well through elementary school but began struggling in middle school. What helps me connect with my students is that I can remember why I struggled and what I did not understand about certain concepts. While working with students, I can identify their areas of struggle or any misconceptions they have learned along the way. I have helped many students not only pass but begin to excel in math.
