I began teaching guitar after completing the second level of instruction in Cuba at age 18, and was already a professional and certified to teach classes throughout Cuba. I was a teacher for 10 years at the Academy of Arts where I began my studies, in the center of the island. There I gave individual lessons to students between the ages of 10 and 17, and also taught group music workshops for 8 to 12 students.
I have been part of various groups and bands as a bassist and guitarist, as I have mastered several musical genres besides classical guitar. During this time, I have always given private lessons, teaching classical guitar or general guitar technique, as well as electric bass. I have remained a worship band musician for over 10 years.
