I’m an educator and communication professional with a passion for helping others unlock their full potential. Currently pursuing a PhD in Communication and Rhetorical Studies at Duquesne University, I bring both academic depth and practical insight to my teaching. With over a decade of experience, I specialize in transforming complex communication concepts into actionable skills, through fostering an environment of collaboration and creativity.

As an adjunct professor of Communication at UT Tyler and Duquesne University, I teach public speaking and communication courses both in-person and online. What excites me most about teaching is finding ways to make communication not just a skill, but a transformative experience. By engaging students actively in the learning process, I empower them to build confidence and refine their communication abilities in ways that are meaningful to their personal and professional lives.

Before moving into teaching, I worked as a freelance communication consultant, where I developed visual and written content, marketing strategies, and brand communications. This real-world experience allows me to bring practical insights into the classroom, reinforcing the importance of clear communication in every context.

I hold a Master of Arts in Communication from The University of Texas at Tyler, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a thesis discussing media influence on individual creative consciousness. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication, Public Relations, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Currently, as a doctoral student at Duquesne, I’m researching media ecology and rhetorical studies, enhancing my ability to teach communication concepts that are actionable and relevant in our fast-paced technological environment.

Whether teaching public speaking or mentoring students, my goal is to empower others to communicate with confidence and clarity. For every student to believe in the value of their individual perspectives and experiences.
