I am a certified educator in English Language Arts for grades 4th through 8th, as well as certified to teach all subjects from early childhood through 6th grade. My primary experience lies in 6th grade ELA, kindergarten, and pre-kindergarten classrooms. Beyond teaching, I serve as a coach for fellow teachers on my campus, supporting both new and veteran educators to build their skills and promote teacher retention. I design creative and engaging lessons that emphasize differentiation to meet the diverse needs of my students.

My teaching expertise spans a wide range of learners, including on-grade-level students, advanced learners, special education students integrated in general education settings, and English as a Second Language (ESL) students. I implement effective strategies tailored to support ESL learners in the general education classroom. I am also well-versed in testing strategies, particularly for state assessments like STAAR and MAP, always aiming for measurable student success. Being results-oriented, I guide students toward reaching their full potential through targeted instruction and assessment.

In addition to classroom teaching, I take pride in my role as a team leader. I collaborate with colleagues to develop lessons that align with standards and meets the diverse needs of learners. My leadership skills help foster a positive, supportive environment where educators can grow professionally and students thrive academically.
