I am a Texas-certified STEM teacher with classroom experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, AP Statistics, and Physics. I have taught in both U.S. public schools and an international school environment, and I am currently completing a second bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Texas State University.
My experience includes working with students across a wide range of ability levels, from students who need foundational support and confidence-building to advanced students preparing for AP exams and university-level coursework. I focus heavily on clear explanations, structured problem-solving methods, and helping students understand the “why” behind mathematical and scientific concepts rather than relying only on memorization.
As a tutor, I aim to create a calm, organized, and goal-oriented learning environment. I understand that many students become frustrated or anxious with math and physics, especially when concepts begin to build on one another quickly. My approach is patient and systematic: identify gaps in understanding, strengthen fundamentals, and develop consistent problem-solving habits that students can apply independently. Whether a student is preparing for an AP exam, improving classroom performance, or strengthening long-term STEM skills, I strive to make difficult material more approachable and manageable.
