I am a Texas-certified STEM teacher with classroom experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, AP Statistics, and Physics. I have taught in both U.S. public schools and an international school environment, and I am currently completing a second bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Texas State University.

My experience includes working with students across a wide range of ability levels, from students who need foundational support and confidence-building to advanced students preparing for AP exams and university-level coursework. I focus heavily on clear explanations, structured problem-solving methods, and helping students understand the “why” behind mathematical and scientific concepts rather than relying only on memorization.

As a tutor, I aim to create a calm, organized, and goal-oriented learning environment. I understand that many students become frustrated or anxious with math and physics, especially when concepts begin to build on one another quickly. My approach is patient and systematic: identify gaps in understanding, strengthen fundamentals, and develop consistent problem-solving habits that students can apply independently. Whether a student is preparing for an AP exam, improving classroom performance, or strengthening long-term STEM skills, I strive to make difficult material more approachable and manageable.

Approved Subjects

ASVAB

ASVAB

Experienced math and physics educator specializing in ASVAB preparation, including Arithmetic Reasoning, Math Knowledge, Word Knowledge, and Mechanical Comprehension. Achieved perfect or near-perfect scores on ASVAB practice exams and the Officer Aptitude Rating (OAR) test. Focused on test strategy, speed, and foundational skill-building in algebra and geometry, with emphasis on improving accuracy under time pressure.
Quantum Physics

Quantum Physics

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics with coursework in quantum physics and related advanced mechanics. I earned a 4.0 in my upper-level quantum physics coursework and served as a teaching assistant during my senior year, where I supported the instructor by assisting students with problem sets and contributing to grading and feedback. My academic background also includes applied mathematics coursework that reinforces my ability to explain the mathematical foundations underlying quantum theory. While my primary teaching experience is in K–12 STEM education, I bring a strong foundation in physics content knowledge and a focus on helping students develop conceptual understanding alongside mathematical rigor. I aim to make abstract quantum concepts more accessible by breaking them into structured, step-by-step reasoning that builds intuition and problem-solving confidence.
