I have been a substitute teacher for Fort Bend Independent School District specializing in teaching all subjects to Elementary and Middle School children. I also have experience with private tutoring to Elementary and Middle School children, specializing in Math, English and all other subjects that they might need help with. My emphasis has always been on customizing my teaching style according to the child's personality. Some children are visual, some learn by actually doing things and some learn better by listening, so I always adapt my teaching style to the nature of the child and since every child is different, I believe that they should be taught in a style that makes them comfortable.

I am very humble and polite by temperament, and have a very cheerful disposition. I do use a lot of humor when teaching because that is the fastest way to learn something - through humor, especially if the topic is important but seems boring to the child, then incorporating some humor will make it more interesting to the child. I am an excellent listener! I encourage children to express their emotions so that their mind and feelings are at ease while learning. It is very important for children to vent, because if they have their feelings all bottled-up, it makes it very difficult for them to focus when they have something bothering them, that could be a hindrance to focusing on the topic, so I always start with asking the child what is going on with them and if they have any troubles before we actually start learning something very important like Math for example, which needs the child to focus a 100%.
