I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I earned my degree in Psychobiology. My academic background includes extensive coursework in general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, physiology, and psychology, giving me a strong foundation in the sciences. I will be attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine this fall.

I have been tutoring on Wyzant for the past six months, working with students ages 15 and up in biology, chemistry, and psychology. I also bring mentoring experience from my leadership roles in UCLA’s Pre-Dental Society, where I helped students navigate difficult science courses, prepare for the DAT, and plan their pre-health paths.

My tutoring style focuses on breaking challenging material into simple, manageable steps. I use techniques like active recall, spaced repetition, and real-world examples to help students truly understand (not just memorize) the material. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style — whether that’s visual explanations, guided practice, or concept-based discussions — to keep sessions engaging and effective.

I’ve worked with students in both one-on-one and small group settings, in-person and online, and my goal is always the same: to help you build confidence, master the material, and develop the study skills needed to succeed on your own.
