I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I earned my degree in Psychobiology. My academic background includes extensive coursework in general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, physiology, and psychology, giving me a strong foundation in the sciences. I am currently in the application cycle for dental school, which keeps my knowledge of pre-dental requirements and core science material fresh and relevant.

I have experience tutoring students ages 15 and up in biology, chemistry, and psychology, as well as mentoring peers through my leadership roles in UCLA’s Pre-Dental Society. In that role, I supported students with strategies for difficult science courses, preparation for the Dental Admission Test (DAT), and overall pre-health academic planning.

My tutoring style focuses on breaking challenging material into manageable steps and using techniques such as active recall, spaced repetition, and real-world examples to boost understanding and retention. I adjust my approach based on the student’s learning style — whether they prefer visual explanations, guided practice, or conceptual discussions — to make learning engaging and confidence-building.

I have worked with students in both one-on-one and small group settings for over two years, both in-person and virtually, allowing me to adapt to various learning environments and keep students engaged. My goal is to help students not only master the material but also develop the study skills and confidence to succeed independently.
