I am a graduate student in Wildlife and Natural Resources at Tarleton State University, where I conduct research in insect ecology and conservation. I earned my bachelor's degree in Wildlife, Sustainability, and Ecosystem Sciences with a 4.0 GPA and have built a strong foundation in biology, ecology, entomology, wildlife management, conservation biology, statistics, and scientific research. I tutor biology, ecology, entomology, environmental science, scientific writing, research methods, grammar, APA style, and college writing. My graduate research has strengthened my skills in experimental design, data analysis using R, scientific writing, and communicating complex scientific concepts.

For more than four years, I have taught and mentored students in a variety of settings. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a Writing Center tutor for two years, helping students from many disciplines with APA style, research papers, literature reviews, scientific writing, grammar, organization, and revision. As a graduate student, I have served as an instructor and teaching assistant for undergraduate ecology and general entomology courses, leading laboratory sections, answering questions, and helping students prepare for assignments, exams, and lab reports.

Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about science communication and education. I have presented my research at professional conferences, developed educational materials for university courses and community outreach events, and regularly lead outreach activities for children and families. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain challenging concepts to learners of all ages. My tutoring philosophy focuses on building understanding by breaking difficult topics into manageable steps, using real-world examples, and adapting my teaching style to each student's needs.
