I started learning Japanese at age 19 back in 1987 by living in Japan, returned to the States in 1989, worked as a tour guide for Japanese tourists, went to BYU and graduated in Japanese in 1993, moved to Japan to begin my career as an interpreter and translator at Daifuku, returned to the States in 2006, worked for Honda R&D in Ohio for 14 years and now working for Daikin in Texas.
