Hi! I’m a certified teacher with 19 years of classroom and tutoring experience. I currently teach middle school math (grades 5–8) and work as a certified driving instructor. I hold an active K–8 teaching certificate and have over 19 years of experience tutoring students in grades 4 through 10.

My tutoring starts with understanding your child’s unique needs. I use assessments, observations, and conversations to identify strengths, gaps, and learning styles. From there, I create individualized learning plans that build confidence, close skill gaps, and support long-term growth.

Excellent Experience

Marvin was an excellent resource for my 6th grade son who was originally resisted tutoring. Lee was patient and firm with lots of neat strategies to teach the math concepts. I would definitely call Lee again to tutor my son due to his extensive knowledge of math concepts and teaching strategies.

Goal Oriented and Focused. Great Job!

I needed a tutor for my ten year old son who was looking to place out of 4th grade into 5th this summer. Unfortunately, we only had about 3 weeks to prepare! Marvin (Lee) took charge of the situation, came armed with all sorts of enrichment materials and worksheets, and did a fabulous job preparing my son. He managed to cover a whole year of social studies in less than 2 weeks! He was patient and truly interested in my child's success. He is not afraid to explore every avenue to make sure a student stays interested and involved in the learning process. I highly recommend him!
