Hi there! I am a mother of 4 and a dedicated special education paraprofessional and a future educator graduating in the Spring of 2027 from SHSU. Over the past 3 years I have supported students from early childhood through 6th grade, working with a wide range of learning needs, including non-verbal students and students with diverse exceptionalities. My passion for education is rooted in both professional and personal experience. As a mom raising children with ADHD, I understand the importance of patience, advocacy, individualized support, and recognizing each child’s strengths. That perspective has helped me build meaningful connections with students while creating supportive, engaging learning environments.
I have earned a Dean’s List honors numerous times and recently passed my Texas State content certification. Teachers and colleagues consistently recognize my attention to detail, strong data collection skills, and ability to identify student strengths and needs. Because of this, I am often trusted to work directly with students to reinforce and apply new concepts using evidence-based strategies and my growing educational background.
I strive to stand out by combining compassion, academic dedication, and hands-on classroom experience to help every student feel capable, supported, and successful.
