I started learning Jiu-Jitsu as a child before it was well known or popular in the United States. I stated teaching children at the age of 17 years old. I have taught Jiu-Jitsu to a number of different type of individuals from Law Enforcement to DEA agents, children who are getting bullied or have confidence issues and women who want to protect themselves. I am the owner and head instructor at Katana Jiu-jitsu Academy. I received my Black Belt in 2010 and am now considered a Professor in the Martial Art. I don't just teach how to Strike, Throw, defend yourself but I also teach the Philosophy of Jiu-Jitsu. This is the secret to learning the martial art. Learning how to deal with society and have self confidence involves more than learning how to disable a person who is a threat.

I am the Owner of a Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Spring, Texas. I started training in Jiu-Jitsu in 1994. I have trained hundreds of Men, women and children in the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Also including Law Enforcement such as the DEA, Tomball Police, HPD and Military Experts. I teach a method of Jiu-Jitsu that is designed for Combat and not tournament sport. Our students learn five elements of Jiu-Jitsu which are Striking, Throwing, Self-defense, Grappling and most importantly the Philosophy of Jiu-Jitsu. The philosophy is the secret to learning the art. Learning how to deal with negative emotions, having physical awareness, and mental clarity are parts of the Jiu-jitsu philosophy that I teach that makes the art great for students of all ages and walks of life.
