I am a certified Texas educator with a passion for helping students grow academically and emotionally. I currently teach ESL Reading to 6th–8th grade students and specialize in working with multilingual learners, students with learning differences, and those who need additional support in literacy and language development. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and am pursuing a Master’s in Counseling with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and school counselor.

My teaching experience includes working in a middle school classroom, where I provide small group and one-on-one instruction daily. I also have experience tutoring students after school and creating individualized learning plans that target specific needs. I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that meets students where they are, focusing on building confidence, critical thinking, and academic skills.

My tutoring methods are student-centered, using a combination of direct instruction, visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive strategies to keep students engaged. I incorporate TEKS-aligned and STAAR-aligned materials in my instruction and have had great success helping students improve their reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, and writing skills. I’m passionate about making learning accessible and empowering students to feel successful and capable.

Whether I’m helping a student decode a complex text or build their confidence through writing, my goal is always to make learning a safe, encouraging, and empowering experience. I look forward to helping your child grow!
