Hi! My name is Keira, and I am a current student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in chemical engineering. I have been tutoring for nearly 4 years, and I am open to helping a wide age range of students, from elementary school all the way up to lower-level college classes. I tutor math at all grade school levels (especially Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry), as well as Calculus (I, II, and III, as well as AP Calc BC and AB), Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. I can also assist with elementary/middle school science, high school chemistry and biology, college-level General Chemistry, and introductory Organic Chemistry. I have experience with many STEM-based AP courses from high school, including AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology, all of which I scored a 4 or higher on.
My tutoring style is mostly dependent on what the student needs. I am open to helping students prepare for exams (SAT, AP, etc), get a head start on content for a future class, maintain skills over summer, and working through assignments/homework. If interested in working with me, we can discuss a specific tutoring plan at the start. I have no requirement on how many sessions we do. If you want a full summer plan, that's great, but if you just want to meet for help once, that's also fine! My goal is to help with whatever you need, as the student.
