I am a certified elementary teacher with a strong foundation in early childhood education and literacy instruction. My training and certification have prepared me to support diverse learners across core subject areas, including reading (ELAR), math, and science. Through my educational background, I have developed a deep understanding of child development, differentiated instruction, and standards-based teaching practices, which guide my approach to supporting student growth.

I have experience teaching in a classroom setting, working primarily with elementary-aged students. In my current role as a second-grade teacher, I provide daily instruction in reading, math, and science, using a combination of explicit instruction, guided practice, and hands-on learning strategies. I focus on building foundational skills while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. I also incorporate small group instruction and individualized support to meet the unique needs of each student, helping them build both academic skills and confidence.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience working with students in more individualized settings, providing targeted support and reinforcement of key concepts. I have worked with young learners to strengthen reading fluency, comprehension, and phonics, as well as math problem-solving and foundational science skills. My experience spans working with students of varying ability levels, and I am committed to using patient, encouraging, and adaptive teaching methods to help each student succeed.
