Though my major is in Theatre Education, I feel qualified and equipped to also tutor in subjects including Anthropology, History, and Criminal Justice. This is not only due to my schooling, but also my passions, hobbies, and past work experiences. Overall, I am eager to help in any way that I can!
I received an A in this course and spent a good amount of my free time exploring this subject more. My experience in theatre has really prepared me to understand the study of human cultures due to the extensive character research I do to understand the world, relationships, choices, etc. that live within a play.
Throughout my education career, I have taken 6 History courses including American History, Texas History, General History, and English History. This is also a subject that I spend a lot of time researching due to my experience in theatre. Understanding the history is always apart of my exploration.
While attending school I worked at both a prison and adult probation center so I have first-hand experience in the understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
Having been in the world of theatre for the last 15 years, the bulk of my experience is found within the arts. I have qualified and participated in several different high school and collegiate level competitions for acting. I also spent a year going around Texas for different plays, films, and commercials. I am currently going to school to be a high school director and educator, so my heart lies within children and teaching!
