Hello! My name is Victoria and I love the visual arts and art history. I am a PhD student at the GC and have a master's and bachelor’s degree in art history with an emphasis on Latin American and Pre Columbian Art. Although my specialization is in Latinx and Pre-Columbian Art, I do my best to continue to learn about cultures from around the world so that I can better serve my students and grow as a scholar myself. I believe that art can and should be enjoyed by all. My goal as an educator and future museum employee is to represent works of art from all cultures.
I am a college professor, have taught in museum education programs in Houston, TX and have plenty of experience grading papers as a TA for art history classes so I know I would be able to help you make an A! I’ve also helped students study for their teaching exam to become certified in Art History K-12. I know that with my experience and expertise that I can help you be a better art historian!
In addition to to art history, theory and criticism, I also provide tutoring for drawing, painting, and photography both digital and traditional. I originally began my undergraduate degree as an Art EC-12 teacher track and I absolutely love creating art. If you have any questions or would like to see samples of my studio work feel free to contact me because I would love to hear from you! I hope that you choose me as your tutor because I would greatly enjoy helping you in any way I can.
