A caring tutor who builds skills and confidence
Becca is very knowledgeable about test-taking strategies and has helped improve my study skills as a medical student. She taught me how to tackle a dense load of information while keeping up with past material during my prep for the USMLE Step 1 exam. Becca guided me in making a detailed study plan for the upcoming week(s), working through test anxiety, and identifying knowledge gaps. She also helped me navigate applying for test accommodations and rescheduling my exam when my eligibility period had expired. Most importantly, Becca has created a supportive learning environment by meeting her students where they are at and utilizing an individualized approach to learning. Her expertise and passion for education helped me to pass Step 1 and to develop a valuable skill set to move forward confidently in my medical career. I am looking forward to working with Becca as I take on my shelf and Step 2 exams!

Targeting areas of my study habits
Thank you to Rebecca. Because of her support, planning, and guidance, my third year and Step 2 process have felt so much more manageable. She has taken so much of my anxiety away and helped me become more confident. She helps me see my goal of becoming a physician even when the road feels unclear and rocky. Thanks to the Excel review chart she created for me, I was able to review an NBME much more efficiently—this has honestly been the best new tool for me. She has provided me with so many resources that help organize my thought patterns, and her approach always makes me feel comfortable and supported. She is empathetic, patient, and truly understands how to meet me where I am. We work together to find ways to manage my executive dysfunction and get to the root causes of my challenging study habits. I feel understood, guided, and encouraged every step of the way. I’m incredibly grateful for her help and for everything she’s done to keep me moving toward my goals.

Delivers
Contacted Becca to support our daughter, Maya while in college. Maya has ADD Inattentive and struggles with time management and organization. Becca had excellent communication and follow up with me to make sure we could find a good time fit and to give us reminders. Becca sent me a detailed readout of everything she covered in the coaching lesson which I found very transparent and cooperative. After the first lesson, our daughter expressed that Becca was very helpful. I can see Maya being able to build on things she learned in even just one lesson. During this first lesson, Becca helped our daughter to track her assignment progress at school so the she could understand where she stands with each class. She helped Maya consolidate her personal and school calendars for easier management and helped Maya determine a consistent time to check all of her assignments to ensure she catches all updates from teachers in a timely manner. Becca not only has the skills to help with organization and Executive Function but her experience with college level Science workload will help Maya feel understood and make the coaching relevant in multiple ways. I am hopeful that with Becca’s help, Maya can become more independent, reduce stress and be successful. Looking forward to continuing lessons to see progress.

If You're Looking For an Advisor...
I was a non-trad medical student, a US-IMG who started medical school at 38 with a YOG of Jan 2022. Life comes at you fast, and sometimes dreams take a back seat. As I have begun the journey once again to take my board exams, secure new externships, and vie for Match 2027, I knew the key to my success would be to find a tutor. Well, Rebecca is more than that--she's a mentor, as she can not only help you parse through difficult topics, but she can also teach you how to think about what you are studying and offer application advising as well. I am looking forward to working with her.

Kind, understanding and highly qualified
I have adult Dyslexia and was diagnosed at age 18. There were not many tools back then. Now at 58 yrs. Old I have encountered an exam that I am having trouble successfully pass ing. Rebecca understood this and was so helpful in giving me some great tools that are working. I’m still in the studying stage but her tools and help has impacted my process. Thank you so much Rebecca!

I had the privilege of working with Becca to prepare for my residency interviews. I believe her expertise surpasses that of many PDs. She really knows and love what she is doing! Extensive experience in all aspects of the process and a deep understanding of the nuances of each case. Very accommodating in terms of scheduling and responsive to texts. I highly recommend Becca to MDs seeking expert interview coaching.
