Hey guys! I am Zoe S, a current biology major at Oklahoma Baptist University and a summa cum laude graduate from Clear Lake High School. I have always had a deep appreciation for science and math courses and desire to help other people discover the same excitement for these subjects. I love tutoring because it really makes a difference in the academic lives of many students. I believe that a great teacher or tutor can completely change the way a student views a subject—and I strive to be that kind of mentor.

I have informally tutored in math and science courses throughout my academic life, but officially became a tutor 2 years ago at Oklahoma Baptist University. Since then, I’ve mainly led group study sessions and provided one-on-one support in general chemistry and calculus. I have also provided help with algebra, biology, geometry, and organic chemistry.

My approach to tutoring is centered on teaching students how to learn—not just what to learn. Developing strong study habits and problem-solving skills is the key to long-term success, especially in challenging math and science courses. I draw inspiration from the excellent teachers I've had and aim to bring that same clarity, patience, and enthusiasm to every session.
