Hi, I'm Katie. I write fantasy books. One of my novels received the Kirkus starred review for a book of exceptional merit, and was also picked as one of the Best Indie Books of 2016 by the editors of Kirkus Magazine. I say this because I want you to know I can help you learn writing, reading, grammar, spelling, punctuation. I can teach you to edit and proofread your own work. I have a BA degree in History and English. Tutoring in other areas such as American and European history, social studies, literature are also some of my specialties. I love to teach!

I am a writer of exceptional fantasy novels. I understand the written word, and how to structure sentences and paragraphs, utilize punctuation and the correct word usage. I can help a student to read better by helping him/her understand sentences and how they work. And WHY they work. Does your student need to learn how to write a paper? I'm here. Improve reading skills? Correct grammar? No problem! I am also quite well versed in history, and can assist a student to better grades in history and social studies classes. I have a BA in both History and English, and I studied history and literature at length - so much that I qualified for a double major! I truly enjoyed the history of England, and specialized in learning about King Richard III. He wasn't the terrible king folks want to think. All this means is that I can improve your students grades through my unique skills.
