I have a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During the time I was obtaining my degree, I worked part time as a tutor at a local small business. There, I got to hone my craft, working with students in-person. After graduating, I spent a decade in manufacturing and design where I got to use math in real-life applications.
Since leaving engineering, I've taught math in a classroom setting and worked with small groups of students, but my specialty is one-on-one tutoring with students of all ages. I have deep knowledge of all primary math subjects through Calculus and really enjoy teaching students in ways they can understand. Few things are better than having a student leave me a great review about how things felt like they "clicked" when I explained them.
