My daughter had a few sessions with other tutors upon starting and when she had the session with Marvette it was a great fit. She pushes my daughter to do her best. While nothing is perfect when it comes to academics, Marvette will provide the support your child needs to improve in mathematics. Job well done!
Hi! I’m Marvette. I’ve always loved tutoring, and my passion for mathematics continues to shape my journey as both an educator and lifelong learner. After earning my Master of Science degree in Mathematics in May 2025, I began doctoral studies in Mathematics Education while working as a University Mathematics Instructor at a Texas university.

Amazing Tutor!
My daughter really enjoyed her first session! When she was finished I saw a spark in her that I hadn’t seen in a while! She made her feel at ease with math which is usually a subject that makes her anxious. Also, the homework assignment she completed after the session scored an “A.” Marvette has been a real confidence builder and we are grateful for that! We are looking forward to our upcoming sessions.
