Hi there, I'm Kevin! I am a Creative Writing tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing. I have over 20 years of writing experience, as well as over 10 years in tutoring and mentorship.
I am in love with writing; I have been all my life. But while I spent many years honing my craft and learning all I can, I had also been cultivating a love of mentoring. I started working at my college as a writing tutor at the campus Writing Center, and I found I had a natural affinity towards helping others. I love writing my own work, but there's a different type of satisfaction that comes with helping others with their writing.
Over time, I've run several writing groups, mentored many writers, served as an editor for several years, and even started my own Creative Writing Coach service. My passion now is helping young or new writers discover their unique writing voices. When I work with someone, I always try to make sure they leave with the sense that there is so much more for them to discover because ultimately, writing is all about curiosity. Together, we'll figure out what your writing style could be, what other authors and books would be best to study, and we'll also develop your skills and techniques.
