Hello! I am a 2nd year medical student in Texas. I graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a biology major and biochemistry minor. I have helped students with the MCAT, college and medical school applications, various math classes, SAT/ACT test prep, and more. I enjoy helping students across a range of ages. I am an advocate of using the Socratic method so that students can arrive at answers with their own abilities but facilitated by my guidance. I worked as a tutor for Mathnasium, served as a tutor in my high school, volunteered in Waco ISD as a high school tutor, and provided virtual tutoring services for students in New York.
I worked as a math tutor for Mathnasium. I have received awards for my excellence in math during high school. I took honors and AP classes for all of my math classes and made As in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC.
I have made As in all of my college and high school science courses including Biology, Genetics, Cell and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics 1 and 2. I also work in a neurobiology research lab so I have real-world experience as well.
