I am a recently retired middle school teacher with 10 years of experience teaching reading (advanced, on-level, and remedial). As a professional, I have always taken education very seriously and my former colleagues would certainly agree with me. I also believe in the value of a good education and the doors that open after getting one. Almost all of my former students would say that I was a great listener, something integral to teaching that not every teacher possesses.
I have taught Reading at the 6-8 grade levels for 10 years and have consistently reached the testing goals set forth by the district every year.
I scored a 98 on the ASVAB in order to qualify for entry into the Air Force. I have also passed the series 6, 7, and 63 exams on the first try.
If your serious about hiring a professional tutor that also has a sense of humor to help grasp new or difficult concepts, I am the right person for the job.
