I've recently transitioned out of the classroom but am eager to continue supporting students in their educational journeys. In particular, I am passionate about making challenging and advanced academic coursework accessible to all students and specialize in scaffolding and differentiating for diverse students. I welcome students with learning differences, those who struggle academically, or are learning English ( I also speak Spanish!). As a former AP and IB teacher and Ivy League graduate, I also can help high achieving students by providing additional opportunities to engage in deeper thinking, elevate their writing, or strategically prepare for exams in order to reach their maximum intellectual potential. I stay up to date on educational research and like to help students employ metacognitive strategies and learning science to improve their study habits. I get to know my students as people and customize learning for their needs and interests. I look forward to meeting you!
