To Prospective Students:
I graduated Magna Cum Laude (3.8 or above out of 4.0) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Ball State University. During that time, I was on The Dean’s List every quarter. I was inducted into Golden Key National Honor Society and I received Rehfeld Social Work scholarships every quarter, too. In high school I also graduated Magna Cum laude and was 11th out of 372 in my graduating class. I was in National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. I played clarinet for seven years. After graduating college, I was offered the opportunity for an illustrious Fulbright Scholarship to study abroad. But due to family responsibilities, I did not accept it. I worked in my chosen field, then due to economic reasons, I substitute taught for ten years. I just returned to The United States after teaching English as a Second Language for five years.
I am a professional writer (Poet/Songwriter). My record company is HillTop Records Inc. in Hollywood. And my publisher is Dorrance Publishing Company, Inc./(RoseDog Books, Inc.) who has an excellent record with over seventy years in the publishing field. I am seeking to teach English as a Second Language. My classes are bilingual. I am also looking for people who would like to form a group on poetry; not so much as the technicalities, (such as simile, metaphor, personification, iambic pentameter, limerick, etc.), but simply to enjoy it for the sheer pleasure.
