I attended Southern Methodist University and received a degree in geology in 1978. For over a decade I explored for and drilled oil wells in Texas with great success. My family owned a compact music store chain also in Texas and I managed a store in the 90's. After that I received my teachers certification in science and have taught middle school, high school and college courses. I enjoy tutoring because it gives me a personal satisfaction to watch a student learn to fly. My tutoring students have ranged from G.E.D. testing to struggling underachievers to gifted students prepping for SAT's.
My academic strengths are sciences, math, dyslexia and TAKS preparation. I have taught at S.A.I.S.D., S.W. Prep High School, and at The University of Incarnate Word. I will provide my students with multiple sites to work on to help them improve their skills. It will be a well-rounded experience for any student that they will never forget.
