I'm a finance graduate from the Honors College at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where I earned a 3.65 cumulative GPA and a 4.00 GPA within the College of Business. My coursework included corporate finance, investments, security analysis, international finance, and computer modeling of financial applications, giving me a strong foundation in both the theory and the practical tools students need to succeed in finance and economics courses. I currently work as an Associate Implementation Consultant supporting financial reporting and data analysis, and I previously worked as a Foreign Investment Specialist and Business Research Assistant, where I built financial models and risk analyses for real clients. That professional experience lets me connect textbook concepts to how they're actually used in the field, which I've found helps students retain material more easily.

I tutored economics and finance at UTSA for about a year and a half, holding regular office hours and working with more than twenty college-level students per week. My approach focuses on breaking down financial and economic problems step by step rather than just walking through formulas, since most students struggle less with the math itself and more with knowing which concept to apply and why. I also led small group study sessions alongside one-on-one tutoring, which helped students become more comfortable participating in their larger lectures afterward. Over that time, students I worked with saw their average grades improve by about fifteen percent.

Most of my tutoring experience has been with college undergraduates in introductory and intermediate finance and economics courses, though I'm comfortable working with students at different levels who need help building confidence with quantitative material. I'm patient, structured, and focused on making sure a student actually understands a concept before moving on, rather than just getting through a homework set.
