I hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and am currently completing an accelerated BSN program. I specialize in MCAT strategy, TEAS prep, anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and ATI-style nursing exam preparation.

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking difficult concepts into clear, testable patterns so students learn how to approach complex exam questions efficiently—not just memorize information. I use practice questions, clinical reasoning, and targeted study strategies to help students gain clarity and confidence quickly.

I especially enjoy working with students who feel anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. Sessions are supportive, structured, and designed to make difficult material feel manageable step by step.

I also offer SAT verbal and reading/writing tutoring, with a focus on grammar, reading comprehension, and test-taking strategy.

Nursing Pharmacology with emphasis on cardiovascular medications (antihypertensives, antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, antiplatelets), ATI/NCLEX-style exam preparation, medication safety, and clinical reasoning. MD background with current accelerated BSN training and experience tutoring nursing students in pharmacology, pathophysiology, and exam strategy.
Pharmacology

Pharmacology

I excelled in advanced pharmacology during medical school and applied this knowledge extensively during clinical rotations across pediatrics, OB-GYN, and both outpatient and inpatient medicine. I have experience tutoring nursing and health-science students in pharmacology, helping them understand mechanisms of action, indications, side effects, and clinical decision-making. I specialize in using problem-based learning and real-world clinical scenarios to make pharmacology logical, memorable, and easier to apply on exams and in practice. My goal is to help students move beyond memorization to true understanding and confidence.
Physiology

My experience includes excelling on exams such as USMLE Step 1 and Step 2, the MCAT, and earning National Merit Semifinalist recognition on the SAT. I have experience tutoring nursing and pre-health students in the core science content tested on the TEAS, including biology, anatomy, physiology, and test-taking strategy. I focus on helping students understand concepts efficiently, manage test anxiety, and apply proven strategies to maximize their scores.
Volleyball

I am a former competitive club volleyball player and collegiate athlete, earning First Team All-City honors in San Antonio and First Team All-Conference recognition at St. Edward’s University (NCAA Division II). I have coached middle school volleyball in a private school setting, coached 13-and-under club volleyball teams, and provided private lessons to youth athletes. My coaching focuses on strong fundamentals, skill progression, and confidence-building, with instruction tailored to each athlete’s age, ability, and goals.
