I hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and am currently completing an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. My areas of expertise include TEAS preparation, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, nursing concepts, ATI exam preparation, and MCAT science and CARS strategy.

My teaching philosophy is simple: students perform best when they truly understand the underlying concepts. Rather than relying on memorization alone, I help students identify patterns, strengthen clinical reasoning, and develop effective test-taking strategies that transfer across exams. Together, we break complex topics into manageable pieces and practice applying knowledge through targeted questions and real-world examples.

I specialize in helping students connect anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology so they can think through unfamiliar exam questions with confidence rather than relying on memorized facts alone. My goal is to help students understand the "why" behind what they are learning so they can apply their knowledge across a wide range of academic and clinical scenarios.

I particularly enjoy working with students who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure where to begin. Sessions are supportive, structured, and individualized to each student's learning style, helping them gain clarity, confidence, and momentum.

In addition to nursing and health sciences, I also tutor SAT Reading and Writing, including grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary in context, rhetorical analysis, and test-taking strategy.

I am a former competitive club volleyball player and collegiate athlete, earning First Team All-City honors in San Antonio and First Team All-Conference recognition at St. Edward’s University (NCAA Division II). I have coached middle school volleyball in a private school setting, coached 13-and-under club volleyball teams, and provided private lessons to youth athletes. My coaching focuses on strong fundamentals, skill progression, and confidence-building, with instruction tailored to each athlete’s age, ability, and goals. I am experienced in working with developing players and helping them build solid technique and game awareness.
