I am a horticulture professional and expert garden educator with over 12 years of growing experience. I help people develop their green thumb to skyrocket their success and confidence in their horticulture-based projects, whether that be a home garden, reclamation-of-land project, or farming operation. I have extensive experience in designing and building urban garden setups in dozens of different environments and growing zones and delight in teaching the skills and knowledge necessary in supporting a thriving garden or growing operation.

My background also includes extensive operations and management of greenhouses—from personal hobby structures to full commercial operations—as well as establishing small farms and working within CSA farm models. My specialty is urban organic food production, with design experience in incorporating fruiting trees and shrubs, raised-bed systems, vegetable crop soil science, fertilization, and organic pest management.

I hold a B.S. in Natural Resources Management with a focus on integrating pollinator habitat and native plants to create productive and beautiful growing spaces that are climate resilient and sustainable.

I hold two certifications in permaculture design and excel at helping new gardeners understand plant growth on a deeper level, so they’re not just following steps, but truly learning why things work.

I am passionate about breaking gardening down into clear, manageable actions that lead to success and have been educating new and experienced gardeners and farmers for over 10 years. I you are looking to up level, whether you’re starting a small home vegetable garden or trying to improve an underperforming farm operation, I would be happy to meet with you.

In addition, I bring over 7 years of business management experience in the horticulture space, making me a strong mentor for those looking to start or grow a gardening, landscaping, or horticulture-based business.

Feel free to reach out so we can talk about your project and see if we’re a good fit.
