I’m a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Management, with over a decade of experience in project management and 16 years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. Throughout my career, I’ve applied math and problem-solving in real-world situations, and I know how empowering it can be when students connect the “why” behind the numbers. That same clarity and confidence is what I aim to bring to every tutoring session.

My tutoring experience comes from years of working one-on-one with my homeschooled children as well as other young adult students. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable steps that help students build lasting understanding and confidence. Beyond math, I also mentor students in public speaking and communication, helping them develop skills to express themselves clearly and confidently at all levels. I enjoy providing guidance on career and goal planning, helping students see the bigger picture and connect their learning to future opportunities.
I tutor all levels of math, from basic arithmetic through calculus, and tailor my approach to each student’s learning style. Parents and students can expect a structured yet supportive environment where progress feels achievable. My goal is to make learning not only understandable but meaningful, helping each student gain confidence, enjoy the process, and develop skills they can carry far beyond the classroom.
