Hi, my name is Jesus. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Physics with a concentration in Materials Science. My academic background has given me a strong foundation not only in physics but also in advanced mathematics, which allows me to support students across a wide range of subjects. Over the years, I have also participated in recognized research programs through NASA and Los Alamos National Laboratory, experiences that sharpened my problem-solving skills and deepened my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, structured way.

My teaching and tutoring experience spans several years and includes both one-on-one and small-group settings. I have worked with middle school, high school, and college students, helping them strengthen their understanding of math and physics, prepare for standardized tests, and build confidence in problem solving. I have also served in educational roles such as Assistant Center Director at a learning center, where I guided students of different ages through challenging math and science topics. My approach focuses on breaking down difficult problems into manageable steps, using real-world examples to make abstract ideas more approachable, and tailoring explanations to each student’s learning style.
