After graduating I quickly obtained my Pedagogy and Composite Science teaching certifications and taught high school science classes for 7 years. In that time I mentored two teachers as well as lead two teams of teacher in PLC groups for 4 years. Additionally, I hosted and often ran and organized groups of at-risk students for after school tutoring that would also help them recover missing attendance credits - ensuring that as many students as possible could receive one-on-one help so that they could eventually walk the graduation stage.
I have a passion for helping students feel more confident in their ability as life-long learners. I have a passion for science that runs deep, so if you are looking to extend your knowledge of a topic, particularly a life science, I believe that I can help you reach your goal of further understanding.
