Hi! I am a recent college graduate pursuing law school, and I have a strong background in reading, writing, U.S. history, and social sciences. I hold an Associate of Arts degree from South Texas College in McAllen, Texas, and I recently earned my Bachelor’s degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Sociology with a minor in Politics & Law from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

I have a year of experience tutoring high school students in U.S. History, where I focused on helping students make sense of historical events. I love using analogies, storytelling, and real-world connections to help students not only retain facts but also develop a deeper understanding of the material. I also believe in encouraging students to think critically and ask questions, I am not here just to teach answers, but to help students learn how to think through them. I plan to provide a welcoming environment where students are constantly reassured that they feel comfortable asking questions.

Every summer, I volunteer as a teacher for children’s Vacation Bible School at my local church. Working with younger students has taught me how to be patient, engaging, and flexible in my teaching style. Whether I am working with middle schoolers or high school students, I always strive to adapt my approach to meet the student where they are, and make learning feel less like a chore and more like a conversation.

As someone who is passionate about education, the law, and helping others succeed, I want to bring clarity, encouragement, and energy to every tutoring session. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence in the subject and themselves.
