I hold a BS in Physiology from the University of Arizona and a Masters of Biomedical Science from Midwestern University. I am currently a 3rd year medical student. Over the past 7 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students ranging from middle school to undergraduate level courses helping them excel in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and anatomy & physiology.

My tutoring experience spans both one-on-one settings and small group sessions. I’ve worked as a tutor, small group leader, and teaching assistant, which has allowed me to tailor my teaching methods to meet each student’s unique learning style. I use a variety of approaches, including interactive problem-solving, real-world applications, and concept reinforcement, to ensure students not only understand the material but also gain confidence in their abilities.

Whether in a formal classroom or a personalized tutoring session, I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring complex topics. My goal is to make science accessible, exciting, and enjoyable for all of my students.

I do require an 8 hour cancellation notice, so I can adjust my own study schedule accordingly. I look forward to working with you and seeing you achieve your goals!

Anatomy

Anatomy

As a 3rd-year medical student, I have an in-depth understanding of human anatomy, gained through extensive coursework and hands-on dissection in cadaver labs. My clinical rotations have further solidified my knowledge by allowing me to apply anatomical concepts to real patient care. Additionally, I have developed strong communication skills, enabling me to break down complex topics into understandable lessons for students. My experience in a rigorous medical curriculum makes me well-qualified to tutor anatomy with both academic precision and practical insight.
Biochemistry

Biochemistry

As a 3rd-year medical student with a master's degree in biomedical sciences, I have a solid foundation in biochemistry, both at the molecular and clinical levels. My advanced coursework in biochemistry during my graduate studies, coupled with its practical application in medical school, gives me a deep understanding of metabolic pathways, molecular biology, and their relevance to human health. I have honed the ability to explain complex biochemical processes clearly, making me well-equipped to tutor students in this subject. My combined academic background and clinical experience ensure a comprehensive and practical approach to teaching biochemistry.
Biology

Biology

As a 3rd-year medical student with a master's in biomedical sciences, I have an extensive background in biology, ranging from cellular and molecular biology to human physiology. My graduate studies provided me with a deep understanding of biological systems, which I've further applied and reinforced during my medical education. This combination of academic and clinical experience enables me to break down complex biological concepts into clear, digestible explanations. I am well-equipped to help students grasp fundamental and advanced topics in biology, making me a qualified tutor in the subject.
Chemistry

Chemistry

As a 3rd-year medical student with a master's degree in biomedical sciences, I have a strong foundation in chemistry, particularly in areas such as organic, inorganic, and biochemistry. My graduate studies and medical education have provided me with the knowledge to understand the chemical principles that underpin biological processes and medical treatments. This background equips me to explain complex chemical reactions and concepts in a clear, student-friendly manner. My experience ensures I can effectively tutor students in both fundamental and advanced chemistry topics.
Physiology

Physiology

As a 3rd-year medical student with a master's in biomedical sciences and an undergraduate degree in physiology, I have an in-depth understanding of human physiological processes. My academic training, combined with clinical experience during medical school, allows me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. I am adept at explaining complex physiological mechanisms in a clear and approachable way, making connections between systems and their clinical relevance. This comprehensive background makes me highly qualified to tutor physiology at various levels of complexity.
