I have a knack for getting into students’ heads, seeing where they’re struggling, and helping them to find their way through (sometimes) difficult material. I understand the subtle distinction between musical talent and the intellectual comprehension of music theory, as well as how music theory both aids and differs from the creative act of composition. I have taught students at all levels and offer a warm, non-judgmental approach to grasping the theoretical aspects of music. I am a born teacher who is passionate about helping you overcome obstacles to be the best musician, student, and person you can be.
