I am a Military Veteran with 20 years in the Army. While in Service, I obtained an Undergraduate Degree in Social Psychology and a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Sciences. Both degrees supported my mission as a leader and my specialty as a pilot. Following retirement, I started to work as a teacher in an Alternative Education Center, working with students, who have difficulties learning due to their life circumstances. My working and teaching philosophies are that of a lifelong learner to help me, my fellow workers, and my students achieve their best. I continued my education and obtained a Masters Degree and a PhD in Forensic Psychology. I am certified in Mathematics, English, Special Education, English as Second Language, and of course, German (I am a native German). As a tutor, I specialize in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Conversational German, and Psychology. I am extremely flexible and always welcome feedback, positive and negative. If you are not happy, I want to know why, so I can find a way. I still work half days at my school as a testing coordinator and technology liaison, but am available afternoons, evenings, and on weekends.
