I have been helping students of all ages across a wide spectrum of subjects—primarily STEM—since my own time in middle school. My teaching journey has been anything but conventional: I’ve tutored peers in libraries, coached non-traditional students starting second careers in their living rooms, taught foreign languages on farms overseas, and presented health optimization strategies to theaters full of military officers. I have a genuine passion for that "lightbulb moment" when a complex concept finally clicks and a student sees the world through a new lens of understanding.
My commitment to teaching is mirrored by my own lifelong pursuit of learning. I earned my Associate’s degree while still in high school through dual enrollment. After several years of volunteer work abroad, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Pre-Medical Studies with a minor in Linguistics. I was then awarded an Air Force HPSP scholarship to attend medical school.
Following graduation, I completed a General Surgery internship with a heavy emphasis on trauma medicine, which led to a privileged three-year tenure serving as a Flight Surgeon. I am currently a resident in Pathology, focusing on the diagnostic foundations of medicine.
As a husband and father of four, I understand that every student comes from a unique background with distinct challenges. Whether you are navigating university, preparing for advanced medical training, or just starting your academic journey, I am dedicated to helping you make sense of the world and succeed in your next step. I look forward to joining you on your educational path!
