I recently eraned my degree in Molecular Biology with cum laude latin honors and will be starting my master's studies next fall. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in the naural sciences and mathematics (chemistry, genetics, microbiology and everything in between). I genuinely enjoy helping others better understand topics that feel complex at first and I'm very passionate about my field. My prior teaching experience includes the AP Bio Summer camps from UTD where I helped high school students prepare for their AP Biology exam by simplyfing complex topics into clear, engaging explanations. My teaching style focuses on adapting to each student's learning style so they can fully master the subjects based on the "why" behind the concepts rather than hardcore memorization. Flexibility in teaching is crucial and I tend to try different approaches at first like visual, auditory, and logical. Subsequently, I mold the teaching style based on the student's feedback and teaching style preferences. I've also tutored online in biology and chemistry over the summer, helping high school and college students prepare before classes start. Additionally, I'm very experienced in algebra and have taken multiple courses in both my home country and here in the States. Whether you need help with biology, chemistry, genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, or study strategies for science and math courses, I'm excited to help students succeed so please reach out!
