I have about two years of teaching and tutoring experience. I started as a Calculus and Computer Science tutor at SMU's Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center, working with students in Calculus I, Business Calculus, and intro programming in Java and Python. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science from Southern Methodist University. My coursework included graduate-level classes in machine learning, data mining, and software design.
I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I communicate regularly with parents, and I can explain concepts in Spanish for emergent bilingual students and Spanish-speaking families.
