I'm Cassie, a private music teacher. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in music performance with a focus on percussion, and I also hold an Associate's degree in music composition. I have been teaching private lessons for over 6 years.

I have played drum set for over 20 years in a wide range of genres. I can teach technique, reading, dictation, fluidity and drum set ergonomics. I can also prepare you for drum line auditions and tutor you on mallet percussion. I tutor several young percussionists in mallet technique, reading, and rhythmic comprehension who have gone on to succeed in school band.

I have played guitar for over 20 years and taught privately for 6 years. I hold a BA in music performance. I teach the foundations of guitar. Learn to hold, strum, fingerpick, chord, and play melodies, plus play your favorite songs. I focus on correct, injury-preventing technique, basic music theory to help you make sense of the music you are playing, all while always ensuring lessons are fun and enjoyable.
