With an Associate Degree in Commercial Music Management, I've been an Audio Engineer and session drummer for 10 years, notably at 512 Studios. Hey there! I'm Kevin, a lifelong Austin resident with over 28 years of drumming experience and 17 years of professional performance and touring. I've also rocked the guitar and bass for a combined 13 years. With an Associate Degree in Commercial Music Management, I've been an Audio Engineer and session drummer for 10 years, notably at 512 Studios. Plus, I've spent 7 years teaching drums, bass, guitar, and performance programs at School of Rock in Round Rock, Texas.

I'm now accepting new students (ages 5 to 85) for drums (beginner to advanced), guitar (beginner to intermediate), and bass (beginner to intermediate). I offer private in-person lessons for all three instruments or virtual lessons for guitar and bass.

I earned an Associate Degree in Commercial Music Management from Austin Community College, which complements my hands-on experience. For the past 7 years, I have been teaching drums at the School of Rock in Round Rock, Texas, where I work with students of all ages. Tremendous improvement in a short time!

My son took guitar lessons from Kevin during the summer and he’s improved A LOT! He’s worked on multiple songs and learned various techniques. He enjoyed working with Kevin so much that, even though we won’t be in TX for the school year, he wants to continue lessons with him online. Kevin is an accomplished musician, great teacher, prompt and responsive… and genuinely a great person! Highly recommend!
