I have passed the TExES Social Studies 7-12 (232) Content Exam, and I love learning about, discussing, and teaching Social Studies, History, Government, Political Science, and a number of niche interests in the social sciences!
My experience with the policy-making process, my time studying political science, and my overall enjoyment of the subjects have allowed me to develop a thorough understanding of the concepts and their applications. I plan to work with students in grades 7-12 and would like to work with learners from secondary levels to university-aged students! My approach to tutoring involves working to fill potential knowledge gaps through goal-setting/ planning, and active learning methods!
