Just learn in a different way

I am Fady H., I graduated from a science college in Egypt and I became a geoscientist dealing with rock and underground. After 15 years of working in the oil and gas industry, I decided to start a new career as a teacher for elementary level students and special education teacher as well. What motivated me mainly to make this big career change is my ability to work with kids and the way I can communicate with them.

I found myself fall in love working with kids, teaching them in addition to modeling for them hoe to communicate with others. I have now more than a year of experience as a classroom teacher working mainly to tutor each student in the class, as each one has different skills, way of learning and academic level. For me that sound challenging, however, I loved the fact that each day is different.

In my practical daily work as a teacher in FBISD, I found out that the work in life skills class is like tutoring. Different academic levels and grades. That showed me how important is understand each child and the way that best works for his/her learning style.

From my experience in the work with special needs students in the life skills class (FBISD), I applied so many successful ways and strategies to develop and enhance their goals and objectives. I received many acknowledgments about my work with students at different academic levels with different profiles. I want to benefit the students with as many resources as possible, so I will be more than welcome to have any comments or suggestions from parents to add value to the learning process of the student.
In my last two years, I worked as a special education(life skills) teacher in Katy ISD and was recognized as teacher of the year 2023/2024.
